FAIRER SEX TO BE FIRST

One  learns to earn  If , what a person has learned does not help him to earn,  is there any use of such education?  Recently I came across a doctor who had spent half  his life time in serving the poor. What he earned through it  was a meager amount compared to the amount he had spent on it.  But the satisfaction he derived---- nothing can be compared to it. but how many of us are willing to do so?  Most of us want our  kids to earn more than what we earn.
I think most of you have gone through one or the other matrimony column. It might read like this. wanted  for a fair, 160 cms tall, B Tech bride  a groom tall, handsome, earning 1.5lakhs per month.
When girls earn high  salaries there is nothing wrong in expecting a higher salary earning husband. But is that all they need in life? Is money everything ? When can we see an ad like this
wanted a boy good looking, well educated, willing to part 5% of his salary to social causes every month.......................
The day the mindset of women change ,the country will benefit ........for....... behind everyman there is a woman.
SO   let we, the ladies take the initial step to help the needed.

HELPING HANDS---2

These days we come across people asking to donate for one or the other social cause. Once in a fortnight either a person from so called social organisation or deaf and dumb person showing a letter requesting to help him stand at our doorstep. If not these  people,  a brahmin asking monetary help for his daughter's marriage has become a common sight. How far does the money we donate reach the genuinely needed ?  Helping a needed soul is good  At the same is it not our right to really know that money reaches proper hands. So better take out some time from your busy schedule to know that money you donate is properly channelized

Why not help those  whom you know fairly well.for example----educating your servant or driver's child or providing medicine for the really poor and sick living pathetically in government hospital Even talking to them patiently will relieve them of some pain

So think twice before you blindly donate  to anyone. By the way  I think donating a rupee or two to a beggar at a traffic signal is not actually helping them In fact we are promoting their laziness  So let's not do that mistake unless we are sure that our hard earned rupee is used properly.

PUNCH WITH PETROL

Some have twittered that Vijay Mallya  should be happy seeing the escalating prices of petrol for his beer is cheaper now. It is true that common man  is left to suffer at the cost of the rich few. But now not only thecommon  man, majority of the people  will learn to adjust  and use public transport instead of travel ling independently in own vehicle. They might  go for  bicycles also which  is good for  their health. This also reduces pollution,  prevent traffic jams , minimize the travel time, thus saving both money and oil. The parents will hesitate to buy two wheelers for their children and hence the number of accidents may reduce.     So owning  a vehicle was yesterday’s luxury ,today’s necessity  but tomorrow’s unnecessary waste.. See the numerous advantages of the rise in petrol prices and so donot  grumble

HELPING HANDS----1

Yesterday  by the time  I retired to my bed I was damn tired. It seemed to be a hectic day but   at the end of the hour I felt deeply satisfied. The day's activity started at ten when I along with my husband went to the market to buy lungies, banians, for gents and  nighties for the ladies who stayed at the aged home at integrated welfare society at Quthbullahpur. There are nearly 100 members living there under the shelter provided by one good Samaritan  Mr. K  Venkat Reddy.. Most of the inmates here are aged suffering from different ailments, or mentally unsound.. He takes total care of them  spending his time, and  money .

We had interaction with some of them and came to know about their problems. Though we cannot solve them all,  we could atleast hear them patiently so that sorrows are drained a little.  We arranged snacks for them  and by them we distributed  the new clothes and snacks and returned we were tired but satisfied.

Both me and my husband  decided to extend the possible help to Mr K Venkat Reddy  in the good work he does.  HATS OFF TO YOU,  SIR

DRESS, SENSE OR MESS

Dressing to the occasion is a phrase known to all of us.  But the need of the hour slogan is dressing with sense.  Can all restrain themselves from eating sweets or goodies when they are placed before them?  You should be a diabetic or hater of sweets to do so . similar is the case of dressing . when you dress indecently or obscenely you are prone to invite trouble. Then why do so?

When a man can be judged by the dress he wears and the friends he has should not dressing properly be given importance?

REGAINING THE LOST GLORY----2

                        REGAINING THE LOST GLORY----2
Ancient period saw  the dignity of labour in its full form.  The recent period had witnessed people fussing more about their economic status and declining to do the low selling jobs. The people then had satisfaction in what they did  and lived their lives happily. The present generation--women refuse to do the household work and all the men want to do a white collar job.  They prefer to engage maids for even day-to day chores. None of the educated be it a doctor or teacher want to live in their native villages and develop them. They wish to live in cities --rather metropolis  and earn more and more. The result  the three  u's  urbanisation,  unemployment, unethical activities.
As the cities are more crowded and populated, one finds it difficult to find a job or a shelter .The medical graduate does not want to treat in villages, the agricultural graduate does not like to work in farms. So are the other educated people also. When they donot find proper job or money, they stoop to such a low level activities like chain snatching, robbing, burglaries and even smuggling and kidnapping.
When none is ready to plough the field, or grow crops how can one expect the value of food grains or seeds or other comodities to go down. Is it not high time we teach our children the dignity of labour and teach them to do their own things right from childhood? We should explain to them in detail the qualities needed to be a good citizen instead of qualifications to become an employee.Might be then our future generation will experience a safer living times.

REGAINING THE LOST GLORY ---1

                                                  REGAINING THE LOST GLORY ---1
The last decade saw a numerous changes in a man's life including the dress, habits ,education and social living.  All these had a positive impact on a man's  life while  the stream called  family relations under went a set back.  Most of the families had opted for nuclear living --- meaning living separately---away from their parents. Now the scenerio has changed a little more and taken a ugly turn--single parent system.  The elders should  infact be worried about where the world is moving to. If they wish to regain the lost  glory of united families they should start moving their pawns now, for sooner the better . If delayed one may not know what might happen with the future generation.
The present generation aged from thirty to fifty is more job and money oriented  than relation based. They are ready to forgo anything for the sake of their satisfaction . The word  'ADJUSTMENT '  seems to be missing in their dictionary. The present grand parents are helpless as they donot have reigns of their family in their hands. Their words seem to go in air and their thoughts  valueless. To make changes in the present situation, both the govt and individuals should put in efforts.  Let us think of the different ways how the govt can help. Here are a few.
1-- Giving incentives to people who live with their parents.
2-- Flexible working hours for ladies who look after their in laws.
3--discounts in the school fees for the children of  joint family
4--higher rates for the fd of people who maintain joint account with their parents.
5--rebates and free gifts to the older people while buying household goods........
If we put in efforts we can think of a few more.
At least if such schemes can ooze the feeling of affection between the two generations , might be common pshycological problems faced by children, divorces due to silly reasons, and many other problems will take a downfall.
